hmm not sure about that... hopefully someone from Emaar can clarify that.
By the way, i also read somewhere they are planning a big New Year's party on Dec 31 2008 at the Burj Dubai!

Hi
I am journalist from the US writing a feature on the Burj Dubai.

I am interested in hearing from anyone that has bought. Can anyone tell me:
1) what has their experience been in the buying process
2) do they live in the uae or overseas
3) investment or to stay?
4) what floor

Would especially like to hear from US citizens.

Please leave your answers on this blog.

Thanks!

SB

..I wonder if it will succeed its expectations. Because the sun is so hot in Dubai and the people are so cold. They will melt.

Once an old man said to me:

Grab a fistful of sand from the ground and let it drop out of your hand.

Then look at your hand after all the sand has been dropped.

Notice that even the sand of this city does not stick.

First time here dunno why, maybe cos i'm so going to be in Dubai come December.

I have heard too much about the Burg, i hope i get to see it. Tell me about Dubai, is it exciting? It seems like a hot tourist spot these days?

Kel.
Yes it is a tourist hotspot but will be even more in a couple of years when most of its developments are built.
Its a different type of vacation more like a vegas withour a casino. Much about the city, malls, hotels, etc.
Go to www.dubaitourism.ae to find out more.
Also fill out www.dubaibuy.info and see what competitive rates you can get from travel agents.

The apartments have been sold out, but are available in the secondary market.

Fill out the form on www.dubaibuy.info and let the registered realtors compete for you.

Debbie,
My freind had used the form on dubiabuy.info and was very satisfied with the results.

I am based in Holland and am also interested in buying/investing in Dubai. Is it true that if I fill out the form on dubaibuy.info it will be sent to several real estate companies that will call and bid for me? What if my bid is too low? And what about other travelling options like hotel and airlines?
I plan on travelling in September 22 to Dubai.
